Ambitious vocational students from the city and county administrations of Göttingen gained valuable English language and work experience skills whilst undertaking 6-week work experience placements in private, public and charitable organisations in Cheltenham. Following English language and cultural training, the students undertook 6-week work experience placements improving their spoken and written English languages business skills as well as gaining first-hand knowledge of UK organisations. A visit to the Mayor of Cheltenham, Cllr Duncan Smith, and an informative talk by Cllr Rowena Hay gave them valuable insights into the work of Cheltenham Borough Council.
