Carol Stephens of Delingua Training was delighted to be invited to a celebration event at the BBS1 Arnoldi Schule in Goettingen marking the award of European School status on 11 November, 2016. At the same time, students who successfully completed 6-week work placements in Cheltenham organised by Delingua Training during September-October 2016 were presentated with their Europass Certificates.
Prof. Dr. Godelieve Quisthoudt-Rowohl, MEP, emphasised the importance of Europe in times of uncertainty. Klaus Roelleke and Sebastian Jacob, who are responsible for the Erasmus+ funded mobility opportunities at BBS1 Arnoldi Schule, facilitated proceedings which featured students presenting their overseas’ placements, speeches and musical interludes.
Representing Delingua Training from Cheltenham, Carol Stephens expressed her gratitude for the invitation to attend the special occasion and looked forward to continuing positive relationships with colleagues at the BBS1 Arnoldi Schule.
The school has ambitious aims offering increased numbers of students opportunities for overseas work placements as well as encouraging staff to complete training courses or job shadowing in other European countries to update their knowledge of teaching methods, foreign languages and intercultural experiences. http://www.bbs1-goe.de/
