Overseas’ students can complete placements in charities, but not in private businesses nor in public sector organisations.
There are many benefits for a charity offering overseas’ students work experience. Students with good levels of English are looking for opportunities to develop the skills they need for the world of work, as well as to improve their linguistic and intercultural skills.
Students can offer new ideas or take on projects that the organisation just hasn’t had time to carry out. By offering a student a period of work experience, your charity may gain new ideas and fresh enthusiasm.
