Festivals, Football and Photography!

Vocational students from the BBS1 Arnoldi-Schule have been enjoying a 6-week stay in the festival town of Cheltenham. They have been gaining valuable insights into UK organisations whilst completing work experience placements. As part of their programme, they have also had opportunities to visit the beautiful Cotswold landscapes including Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden, Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe, the university city of Oxford, and London.

Michelle B. took advantage of attending a ‘Beyond Body Confidence’ talk at the recent Cheltenham Wellbeing Festival. Lukas L. has been following his interest in football whilst in Cheltenham by attending matches at Cheltenham FC, who are placed third in League Two following four consecutive wins.  Similarly, Sina S. has made the most of the sunny autumnal days to pursue her passion for photography. Thanks to Sina for the beautiful photos she has shared! Tomorrow sees the start of the 70th Cheltenham Literature Festival with lots more exciting events taking place in Cheltenham.

Delingua is pleased to have such long-standing links with the BBS1 Arnoldi-Schule in Göttingen  and is proud to support Cheltenham Twinning Association and its international exchanges with its twin towns of Annecy (France), Göttingen (Germany), Sochi (Russia) and Weihai (China) as well as the friendship links with Cheltenham in Pennsylvania (United States), Kisumu in Kenya and Stampersgat in the Netherlands.
