Work Experience

Every year students come to the UK to learn English and increasingly students are recognising the value of combining this with a UK work experience placement to enhance future career prospects.

Based in the beautiful Cotswold town of Cheltenham, we offer: voluntary work experience programmes combined with individually tailored cultural training for European students aged 17+ for periods of 1-4 weeks with registered charities.

As a student, it offers you the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a real working environment, to learn a broad range of practical skills, to get to know about the way of life in Britain.

Students stay with one of our carefully selected host families. This is a great arrangement, combining the benefits of home cooking and a comfortable environment with plenty of opportunities to speak English.  Accommodation includes options for full board: breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal or half board: breakfast and evening meal.

We aim to make your stay comfortable and will endeavour to meet particular requirements, e.g. vegetarian food, pet allergies. Please note most families are non-smoking.

We arrange weekend activities to give you opportunities to visit places of interest including visits to London, Bath, Oxford, Cardiff, as well as nearby Gloucester and Cotswold villages
